Posted on Sunday Feb 1 0:00:00 UTC 2009 I have been trying to search for an alternative to the plastic postal bags which are not at all friendly to the environment.
I am therefore pleased I stumbled across these -
 Postal bags which contain recycled polythene and they are also 100% degradable. They are available in lots of different sizes and they are cost effective too. I was a little worried they would not be as strong as the old bags but I think they are in fact stronger.
I have some of the old bags to use up but I have just placed a big order of the degrable ones and will be buying these in the future.

Posted on Saturday Oct 18 0:00:00 UTC 2008 For the last few years I had planned to make some christmas stockings but it just hasn't happened because I have left it to the last minute.
This year however, I have started earlier and today I have drawn a pattern, picked the colours and started cutting.
 Colours: Oriental Red, McManus, Willow, Linden and White.
 It is still in the early stages but I have made a start and I am pleased with the results so far.
  Have you started making felty things for Christmas yet?

Posted on Friday Oct 17 0:00:00 UTC 2008 A few weeks ago I started selling felt sample packs and they have been very popular. In the last 10 days I have sold nearly 50 packs! So a big thank you to my customers for keeping me busy.
Today I wanted to make up a big batch of the packs so that I have got plenty in stock ready to send out when an order is placed.
I have cut lots of squares ...
 Printed lots of stickers ...
 put a label on each piece ...
 Finally, they end up like this ...
 ready to be posted.
I would love to be able to send these packs out free to everyone who asks but I have to charge because they take time to put together.
The 2" samples are also available individually.

Anyway, I am sure you would like to know who the lucky winner is of the felt giveaway.

For one lucky reader I have a Felt Fabric Pack which contains 71 pieces of felt in 71 different colours (all the colours we stock in our shop). Each piece of felt will measure approx. 4" x 4" square.
